Two men were arrested after being arrested with drugs and money.
The 21 and 38-year-old man was arrested around 1:40 a.m. on Nevill Street, Southport this morning when police were alerted to a silver Vauxhall Corsa.
When police stopped the vehicle, it was immediately searched after officers noticed a strong smell of cannabis.

The two men were found in possession of cannabis, suspected Class A drugs and a large sum of cash.
During a subsequent raid on their homes, a quantity of cannabis, cash, suspected Class A drugs and drug paraphernalia were also seized.
The 21-year-old man from Birkdale and the 38-year-old man from Southport are still in custody.
Both were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
Inspector Simon Wilson said: “Fortunately, thanks to the quick-wittedness of our patrols in Southport last night, these harmful drugs have now been prevented from reaching our communities.
“Public information plays a critical role in targeting individuals involved in the supply of drugs and serious and organized crime, and I would like to continue to urge our communities to come forward to us, or to Crimestoppers on a completely anonymous basis, in order to that we can take action. ”
