From time to time, there are interesting promotions offered by hotel loyalty programs that allow you to save money and earn extra points. Likewise, you can save even more when you take advantage of Amex offers and targeted Chase offers.
These offers usually give you a set discount on purchases from specific merchants; for example, $25 off a purchase of $100. Hotel brands are among the most common merchants to appear in Amex and Chase deals, often offering cash back on paid hotel stays.
Currently, a handful of hotels, including some of Marriott’s and Hyatt’s most popular brands, have ongoing targeted offers. Let’s take a look at some of the best.

One of the reasons I hold multiple Amex cards is the ability to take advantage of a variety of Amex offers. Through specific and targeted offers, I have saved thousands of dollars with statement credits over the years.
Although specific offers are targeted and vary by card, I found some good hotel-related offers when I last checked my account. Note that you may have different offers than mine on your Amex accounts.
Perhaps the best offer is for stays at the Grand Hyatt. You can get $60 back when you spend $300 or more at Grand Hyatt properties. This offer is valid for all Grand Hyatt properties in the United States, Mexico and the Bahamas. This offer expires on December 15.
There is also an Amex offer for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in Europe. You can get $100 back if you spend $500 or more on your hotel stay. This offer expires September 30.
Finally, there is a great offer with MGM. You can get $80 back if you spend $400 or more at certain MGM properties. It should be noted that this offer is only valid on certain destinations. You want to make sure you read the terms and conditions to make sure your offer applies to your next MGM stay. This offer expires November 30.
Finally, this offer gives you $10 back when you spend $50 or more on a Hotels.com gift card. You can use it to get a $10 discount on any hotel stay you book through Hotels.com, because you can buy a gift card for yourself and use it for your next stay. This offer expires November 30.
It should be noted that you to have to add Amex offers to your card before making a purchase. You can only add one offer per cardholder across all of your American Express cards, so try adding offers to cards that also earn bonus points on the purchase you make. Amex offers are often targeted and usually vary by card.

There are some great Chase deals available right now, mostly with Hyatt and Marriott.
The first offer I saw was through Hyatt House. You can earn 15% off your Hyatt House stay when you spend $100 or more. There is a $38 return limit. This offer is only valid for domestic Hyatt House properties and expires next week on September 24.
The next offer was for a stay at the Hyatt Place. You can earn 15% back on your Hyatt Place stay when you spend $100 or more with a limit of $38 back. Like the Hyatt House offer, this offer is only valid for domestic Hyatt Place properties. It also expires on September 24.
There are also good Chase deals for specific Marriott brands. The first is for TownePlace Suites by Marriott. You can get 15% off your stay at TownePlace Suites when you spend $100 or more. There is an $88.50 return limit and the offer expires September 30.
There is also an offer for Fairfield by Marriott. You can earn 15% off your Fairfield stay when you spend $100 or more. There is a $57 return limit and the offer expires September 23.
It is very important to know that all these promotions, like all Chase offers, are only valid once. As usual with these offers, payment must be made directly to the merchant and they are not valid on third-party services. Like Amex offers, Chase offers are often targeted and usually vary by card.

At the end of the line
Amex offers and Chase offers can be beneficial if you have upcoming hotel stays, so check your accounts before booking.
Remember that these offers are targeted and change regularly. So even if you don’t have a useful offer now, you might find something the next time your offers are updated.
